Cervical Cancer Awareness Month is about raising awareness for women in order to protect them from the HPV virus and cervical cancer. According to healthfinder.gov, about 79 million Americans currently have HPV but a large population is unaware they have it. Make sure you take the necessary precautions and get the HPV vaccine and schedule your regular Pap tests with your physician.
